Our commitment

Tacoma Chimney Pros wants every homeowner we serve to be able to read this site, see our prices, and book an inspection — including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, or reduced colour vision.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

• Form fields have a visible label attached to them in code, not just placeholder text that disappears when you start typing.
• The site can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the element in focus is visible.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Headings follow a real order, so a screen reader can navigate the page by structure.
• Frequently asked questions use native disclosure elements, readable by assistive technology.
• Text and background colours are tested for contrast.
